How long have you been on DeviantArt?

I have been on Deviantart for 2 years, although lately I have been much more active.

What does your username mean?

Many things, Aurora is my name and it means ‘Dawn’. Dragons have been following me around forever (long story) and my username is a reminder that I am powerful too. I just need to pick a direction.

Describe yourself in three words.

Determined, Self-critical and improving.

Are you left or right handed?

Right handed.

What was your first deviation?

Watching Owl. First experimentation with Vector art.

What is your favourite type of art to create?

I enjoy Vector digital art, but I also love Origami.

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

The Piano. But on visual arts, probably mastery of a craft knife, I come up with many projects that would be better in papercraft.

What was your first favourite?

In the Cavern by Imaliea, a painting of a merman with beautiful colors and atmosphere.

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Full-color digital paintings. It’s amazing what you can do with a tablet.

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

Aqua-Sixio, a surrealist digital artist from France who writes beautiful poems to go along with his amazing work.

If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

I’m not sure, that would take more thought. Maybe Nambroth? I’m sure there are many Artists here that would be brilliant to meet.

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

KassMaura is my sister, and she has impacted my life in countless and amazing ways.

What are your preferred tools to create art?

My hands . A piece of paper, a pencil, and/or a tablet.

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Under a tree with music to set the mood.

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

After I learned to not take better artist’s pieces as a fault of myself, I really enjoy browsing in art that was recently submitted. Deviantart is full of amazing people.
